Micheline's
One-Month Trip
or
How
a Canadian Sister Spent her Summer Vacation
On June 14, 1996, Friday afternoon, Micheline leave Quebec city for a trip of one month in car across Canada and U.S.A. dressed with a white blouse, a black skirt and a black jacket. When she arrives in Montreal at 16:30, she decides to go shopping in one sexshop Priape, two shoes' stores, Chaussures d'Antin and Go-West, and one dress' store Creations Le Tube where she has found two nice outfits, specially a royal blue dress without sleeves and shoulders.
At 22:00, she decides to leave Montreal to go sleeping somewhere between Montreal and Provincetown in Massachusetts, but she is so awaked that she decides to cross the border during the night. At midnight, she arrives at the border and the custom officer says: "Nice evening Madam, what is your citizenship."
Micheline answer: "I am Canadian."
"Where do you go?"
"To Provincetown, Massachusetts."
"For what reason?"
"I am on vacation; it is for my pleasure."
"So, Miss, have a nice vacation in U.S.A."
And with that, Micheline is in U.S.A. She drives all the night and she arrives in Provincetown at 6:45.
During the morning and because all the hotels are closed, Micheline visits a little bit the city of Provincetown and she arrives at her hotel, The Roomers, a 11:30. At noon, she decides to go to the beach to take a little bit of sun and to do a little bit of shopping. So, she put on her blue bathing suit covered of flowers with a dark pink T-shirt over it. She shops between 12:00 and 14:00 and at this time, she goes to the beach to swim in the ocean and to take some sun bath. At 16:00, she goes back to her hotel, removes her bathing suit and dresses with a pale blue dress for doing a little more of shopping.
During the evening, Micheline chooses a very outrageous white and pink dress with long sleeves, a lot of frills and a very huge bosom and a lot of feathers in her head to go to the "Debutante Ball" where she meets 38 other girls who were there for this Ball. Even if she did not win any prizes because the rules of the Ball are that every contestant must wear only white clothing, Micheline was certainly the most applauded girl.
Sunday morning, June 16, Micheline goes back again to the beach and after three hours of swimming and sun bath, she goes back to her hotel, dresses with a silver blouse and a leather skirt and leaves the hotel to go to New York. She chooses a small hotel but the room is so small that she decides to stay only one night in New York; even the wardrobe of Micheline is greater that this room. When she put one of her suitcases on the bed to open it, she had no place to move in the room. From 21:00 to 01:00, she walks in the street of New York, alone but confident and with her great smile, entering and exiting from many bars and meeting some guys on the streets. A young black man offers to Micheline to show her the main bars in downtown New York and Micheline accepts him as a guide. At a moment, the young guy says: "Don't you are afraid to be, you, a blonde white girl with blue eyes with a black man like me?"
"No, you are a man like any other man. Do you have a problem?"
"No. You are a curious girl."
After that, he continues to show me some interesting bar and I go back to my hotel.
Monday morning, June 17, Micheline leaves her room at 9:00 and decides to go shopping dressed with a dress where the skirt is black and the top is white with many black dots and with a yellow jacket over the dress. She goes shopping to Gunit's where she buys ten dresses and one jacket: three black, one black and gold, three white, one white and gold, one blue and gold, one pink and one black and gold jacket. All these dresses are evening dresses with a lot of pearls or sequins, very bright dresses for a woman who wish to be seen by everybody around her. She decides to continue her shopping dressed with one of her new dresses; a short white dress sleeveless with a white sheer jacket over the dress with a lot of sequins. She shops in Macy's and Payless Shoes Source but she does not find any thing to buy.
She continues to shop at Lee Mardi Gras Boutique and at the Village Corset. The Village Corset has only old style girdles but Lee Mardi Gras Boutique is a superb sexshop, the best that I have ever seen in America. Micheline has bought there a very thigh and real corset that removes at least 9 inches to the waist of Micheline and an Emerald necklace with its earrings.
At 19:00, Micheline leaves New York to Atlantic City where she wishes to stay two days to go to the Casino and to show her new dresses. At 22:00, she arrives at Atlantic City, the Caesar and the Bally's are full, but she finds a room at the Claridge. She passes the night, up to 5:00, to go from one casino to another: Claridge, Caesar, Bally's, Trump, Taj Mahal and few other casinos. For this night, Micheline wears a long black dress with a lot of sequins, a large opening at the back with black sheer sleeves and a lot of gold on her chest. Everybody looks at her.
Tuesday afternoon, June 18, Micheline walks on the Boardwalk with a long white dress with a lot of sequins to do a little bit of shopping. At 19:00, she decides to go eating at the buffet of the Claridge. During the waiting time on the lane, many women talk to Micheline about her good taste for her dress and they ask her permission to sit with her. So, Micheline has talked with many women all the time that she was in the restaurant.
During the evening, Micheline returns on the Boardwalk to walk again with her long blue dress and a policeman come to speak to her and say: "You have walked on the Boardwalk this afternoon."
"Yes."
"You were wearing a white dress."
"Yes."
"You have a very nice dress this evening. Why do you have changes your dress?"
"Well, I have many dresses and I wish to show all of them."
"Atlantic city is a nice play for that."
We have continued to chat at least during 30 minutes. After leaving the policeman, three men approach Micheline and asked if she works and how much. Micheline answered in telling: "For three nice men like you, it will be free if we go to the Casino."
They say "OK" and Micheline was a kind lucky bunny for a part of the evening; she throws the dices for them.
When she returns to the casino of the Claridge, one of the girls who served drinks asked to Micheline: "Didn't you wear a different dress and a different wig yesterday evening?"
"Yes, I am at the Claridge and I have many beautiful dresses and different wigs and I like to change my style and my look."
"Will you come back this evening again with a new dress?"
"If you wish, yes. I will go back to my room on the 17th floor and I will be back in 10 minutes."
During this night, I have put on a new dress, at least 7 times. The girls were completely crazy and I have had many drinks. It was a marvelous evening.
Wednesday, June 19, Micheline drives from Atlantic City to Toronto. Micheline wears the same black dress with the yellow jacket. She leaves Atlantic City at 10:00 under a very huge thunderstorm, a real flood. Micheline has so much luggage that she calls the bellboy and a valet to bring back her car. Everyone is very kind with Micheline and says to her: "Thank you, Miss."
Micheline arrives at the border at 22:00 and the custom officer asks her only her citizenship. Ten seconds after, she is on her way to Toronto and she arrives at Hotel Selby at midnight.
Thursday morning, June 20, Micheline goes to the Metro Convention Centre in Toronto for a presentation by Corel about Word Perfect and Ventura from 9:00 to 16:00. She is dressed with a bronze black dress. After the presentation, Micheline returns to her hotel in walking on Yonge Street where she buys six pairs of shoes. At 21:00, she goes to a Fetish Night at the Boots Warehouse located just under Hotel Selby. This fetish night is patronized by Xpressions, the crossdressers' club of Toronto.
Friday, June 21, Micheline drives to Detroit but she decides to pass by Sarnia-Port Huron. This time, Micheline is delayed during 15 minutes to pass the border. The custom officer sends her to the secondary inspection and when the second custom officer sees that there is nothing on his computer about her when he has checked her passport, he just lets Micheline continuing her trip in U.S.A.
Saturday, June 22, during the afternoon, Micheline shops a little bit in Detroit and meets some friends. At the evening, Micheline goes to a bar for dancing.
Sunday, June 23, Micheline shops a little bit in Detroit and buys three new dresses, two outfits for traveling and three blouses at Sears. She is very well served by a very gentle and kind salesgirl who helps her to find all the clothing that she needs. Micheline has only to tell her the size, the style and the colour and she find everything for her. Then, she drives back to Canada. For this trip, she wears her new blue ensemble, a blouse and a skirt with a lot of flowers with a white jacket over all. When she arrives at the Detroit-Windsor border, again, Micheline is delayed during 10 minutes and she is sent to the secondary inspection. The second custom officer asks her to open the trunk of her car. He opens one of her suitcases but when he sees that there are only dresses in the suitcases, he just closes the suitcase and says to Micheline that she can continue her trip. Micheline arrives at Toronto at 22:00. At 23:00, she decides to go dancing in a lesbian bar, the Roses Bar Café on Parliament Street. For this evening, she wears a white sheer blouse with a white bra with a leather skirt.
Monday, June 24, Micheline shops all the day long with another girl, Melissa, and they have a lot of fun together. Micheline wears a colourful ensemble with a blouse and a skirt in black and white. She buys one mini-skirt, 4 blouses and two evening dresses. Micheline decides to continue shopping with a white sheer blouse and the mini-skirt. During the evening, she decides to go to the Bar 501 and to the Colby's.
Tuesday, June 25, Micheline goes to a make-up session at The Bay, a big department store on Bloor street. Micheline wears a white blouse and a black skirt and she is with Melissa. The girl of Mac, the cosmetic company, does a very excellent work on the face of Micheline. After that, Micheline and Melissa continue to shop. During the evening, she goes to the Limelight for dancing.
Wednesday, June 26, Micheline shops and she find a very nice ring at Henry Birks & Sons, but it is a little bit expensive: 6300$ but there are 25 diamonds on this ring. At 21:00, she goes to the Pimblett's on Gerrard street; it is the best place in Toronto to meet other crossdressers. She meets Melissa, April, Carol, Helen and Pat.
Thursday, June 27, Micheline meet an old couple in which the man does not exactly know how to drive in Toronto and where to go. Her wife must go to the hospital for some exams. Micheline offers her services to be their guide in Toronto and to escort them to the hospital. They accept and Micheline is her guide for the day. So, she begins her day by driving the woman to the hospital with the car of the man and after that she shows to the man how to drive in Toronto and where to park is car. She fills up also the gas tank of the car and they return together to the hospital to wait the wife in the waiting room. It was funny because we look like a man with his daughter and when the wife goes out of the room of examination, they look like a couple with her daughter. After a little bit of shopping with this couple, they invite her in a restaurant to have a good meal. After the meal, they leave Toronto for Montreal.
During the evening, Micheline goes to the Jax Bar on Yonge Street to see a female impersonator show and to the Roses Bar Café for dancing a little bit. For dancing, Micheline wears a white sheer blouse and a black mini-skirt. She meets a woman at the Roses. She is a lawyer and we have had a lot of fun.
Friday, June 28, Micheline shops a little bit. She wears a long black skirt with a lot of flowers and a dark pink blouse. During the evening, Micheline is invited at the apartment of Jim to have a little dinner with friends. Micheline wears a long gold sheer dress.
Saturday, June 29, Micheline just walk a little bit around the hotel and stays at the bar of the hotel. During the evening, she goes to the monthly Xpressions Dinner hold on the last Saturday of every month. Xpressions is the crossdresser's club of Toronto. She wears a long blue and gold dress with sequins. This time, the dinner is hold at the Corner Bistro. After the dinner, eight girls decide to go to the El Convento Rico, a very fine place to dance and to see some female impersonators show. After the show, Micheline decides to walk a little bit in the street of downtown Toronto because some streets are closed for the Gay Pride Parade of Sunday. She meets three policemen in front of the Maple Leaf Garden and one of them says to her: "Hello inspector, is every thing OK?"
"Silence, please; you know that I am on an anonymous patrol."
Sunday, June 30, this is the Gay Pride Parade in Toronto and Micheline is in the parade. She wears the same outrageous pink and white dress that she had worn at the "Debutante Ball" in Provincetown. After the parade, Micheline is so exhausted that she goes directly to her hotel to plunge in her bath for at least 30 minutes; she was completely dehydrated.
Monday, July 1, the Canada Day, all the stores are closed and Micheline walks in the parks of Toronto. At the evening, she goes with Chris, a very nice guy, to the Jax Bar where they have played Bingo. Micheline wins a T-shirt and a 25$ certificate of drinks at the bar The Sneakers.
Tuesday, July 2, Micheline shops a little bit in two jewelers where she meets, in 30 minutes, two policemen that she had met on Saturday evening. Every policeman asks to her how she feels, if she has a good time in Toronto and if she needs some help. They are very kind and polite. At the evening, Micheline goes to The Sneakers with Natacha, a young black lesbian who lives in Toronto. After having finishing to drink the 25$ certificate, they go, together and under a very heavy rain to the Jax Bar to see a female impersonator show. Natacha ask to Michelle Dubarry, the leader of the show if Micheline may sing for her in French. Five minutes after, Micheline is on the stage to sing in French, without any preparation, music and lyrics, a song for Natacha. Micheline choose to sing "Sous les ponts de Paris". She was well applauded by the audience.
Wednesday, July 3 up to Sunday, July 7, Micheline is in Houston at the International Conference on Transgender Law and Employment Policy (ICTLEP). It is the best occasion to meet many girls and to discuss about the place of girls like us in North America, Australia, United Kingdom and across the world. For going to Houston, Micheline decides to go by airplane and she uses Air Canada.
For traveling, Micheline wear a kind of small burgundy short with a panel that wraps over so it looks like a skirt with a blouse of the same colour. It was a very quiet flight and many persons around Micheline wish to talk to her. She has no problem with the custom officer and she goes through all the procedures at the speed of a lightening.
In Houston, at the convention in the Ramada Astrodome Motel, Micheline meets a lot of girls and many of them are now good friends of Micheline. We have had many discussions about many topics and it was certainly the most interesting conference for girls like us. Each evening, we have had, after a day of conference, a little wine and cheese for socialization. The temperature is very hot 40C (105F) on the shade and 45C (115F) under the sun with much humidity and even the water of the swimming pool is hot. During these 5 days of conference, Micheline has worn at least 20 different outfits. Well, you know, Micheline always like to put on a new dress or a new outfit. We are approximately 70 girls at this conference in a hotel of 300 rooms. So, we take much room but we are not alone in this hotel. The clients at this hotel and the staff were very kind.
Thursday, July 4, Micheline is a lecturer for a conference about the rights of gays, lesbians, crossdressers and transgenders' people in Quebec, Canada. She thinks that she has given a good picture of the rights of these people in Quebec and she has posted the text of her conference on Internet.
Friday, July 5, during the day, Micheline has participated to many forums. During the evening, with seven other girls, Vanessa, Tony Lynn, Deborah, Lisa, Christine, Heidi et Diane, Micheline goes to the Richard's Bar in Houston to dance. When eight girls like us enter a bar, you may be sure that many persons have given us a very special glance. We have had a lot of fun to dance.
Saturday, July 6, we have a big dinner where many persons who have contributed to help the community of transgenders and crossdressers, have received a special award. We have also had the opportunity to meet the girls of the Tau Chi Chapter of the TRI-ESS Society and the girls of the Gulf Coast Transgender Community. I must say that every person of the ICTLEP, the Tau Chi Chapter and the Gulf Coast Transgender Community is a very fine girl. I feel as I am with a lot of friends that I know since many years. They are warm and welcome; we are like a great family. A very big: "Thank you to you." Also, Micheline has met many fine, charming and sweet persons from Texas and I must tell you that girls from Texas are very nice girls.
Sunday, July 7, it is the time to leave. We have a good breakfast followed by a preparation of the conference of next year. During the afternoon, Micheline goes to the house of Vanessa for swimming and eating a small Bar-B-Q with Dianna, Deborah and an other girl; I am sorry but I have forgotten the name of this girl. We have a nice time in the swimming pool and Micheline has caught a sunburn. The Bar-B-Q is fine and after that, Vanessa drive back all the girls to the hotel where we must take the shuttle to the airport. Micheline wears a black short with a blue corsair blouse for the flight.
Micheline has a lot of pleasure with the stewards and the stewardesses in the airplane and we take some pictures inside the airplane. She arrives at her hotel in Toronto at 00:30.

city. This is the end of this marvelous trip and of this unforgettable
